Do you have Parkinson's disease and experience times when your medication stops working?

What is the purpose of this study?

This research study will see if Tigan®, an approved medication for nausea, helps reduce nausea symptoms caused by Apokyn®. Apokyn® is a medication used to increase the amount of time free from Parkinson's disease symptoms between doses of regularly-prescribed medication.

Can I participate in this study?

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions:Parkinson's Disease, l-dopa, sinemet, levodopa-carbidopa, dyskinesia, swaying, rigidity, Tigan, Apomporphine, Apokyn
  • Age: Between 18 - 100 Years
  • Gender: Male or Female

Detail Study Description

The study aims are:

  • To find out if Tigan® helps stop nausea and vomiting associated with starting Apokyn®

  • To find out how long Tigan® should be used

  • To review the potential side effects of using Tigan® and Apokyn® together

  • To find out how the body processes Apokyn® and Tigan® together
